Mobberley Methodist Church - A Church Without Walls
Transform our worship space into a multi-user community space, including a small hall that can be used by community groups and ministries.
Transform our existing hall, and kitchens into a community cafe (the focus of this development is to engage with families, and grow not only our adults, but mostly our youth groups).
Install a new environmentally friendly heating system.
A disabled friendly Church.
Upgrading of our toilets.
Create a new Sunday school room/ meeting room.
Create a cry room (Baby room)
Develop a garden of remembrance for our congregation and community.
Build a new welcoming entrance.
Upgrading of our parking space area including disabled parking.
Maintain the existing structure of the old building, so that the Church can retain its characteristics, and important history.
We want to create a meeting room that local companies and private groups (for example groups dealing with issues like mental health and Covid) can utilise.
It is the strong belief of the Church council, that by creating space for the community, we will be able to engage people in all levels of the Church, which will lead to conversations about faith and ultimately grow the Church community.
